The North Jakarta administration has set standard operating procedures (SOP) for personnel in the field when anticipating or dealing with rainy season disasters.
The statement above was conveyed by North Jakarta Mayor, Ali Maulana Hakim when he led the ceremony for facing the rainy season or tidal flood (rob) held by the North Jakarta City Leadership Forum Forkopimko) in the west plaza of the mayor's office on Thursday (11/30).

Each would be assigned to pay attention to directions from command posts at the city, urban village, and sub-district levels.

He also urged the community to maintain a clean environment by not littering and cleaning water channels.
"Come on, get ready! People are starting to be responsible for the environment, throw away garbage in the right place, and clean the channels," he stressed.
As for the information, the ceremony participated by 800 joint personnel of police, army (TNI), and other related stakeholders was attended by North Jakarta Metro Resort Police Chief, Com. Pol. Gidion Arif Setyawan; Tanjung Priok Port Resort Police Chief, AKBP Ferikson Tampubolon; North Jakarta 0502 Military District Commander, Col. Today Tri Anggoro; and BPBD's Emergency and Logistics Division Head, Yusuf Madjid.
Besides checking the personnel readiness, the Forkopimko also checked supporting facilities and infrastructure for handling floods, such as rubber boats, buoys, water suction pumps, etc.
